Soda starts with three simple things: filtered water, sweetener, and flavor concentrate — mixed in huge tanks.
That flavored syrup then gets chilled cold, because cold liquid holds gas far better than warm liquid does.
Now comes the fizz: carbon dioxide gas is forced in under high pressure, dissolving into the cold syrup water.
The fizzy soda then races down a filling line, where bottles or cans are filled fast and sealed airtight.
Sealed cans get labeled, boxed, and shipped cold-storage ready, holding that pressurized fizz until you crack it open.
